The auto-generated image file name for imported JEOL RBC and RPC files has been updated to include the more meaningful name of the raw data folder.
A new Data Channel parameter is added to the File Format options of Project's Auto Processing and Process Runs operations. A raw data file can contain multiple data channels. For example, an Agilent MassHunter or OpenLab data file may contain multiple FID and spectral data channels. This parameter allows users to select which data channel to be imported and processed by specifying the data channel name.
Common options are now listed first in the File Format UI for Project's Auto Processing and Process Runs operations.
The software now has a new Hybrid blob detection algorithm. The new algorithm combines 1D and 2D peak detection with options for shoulder detection and controlling how 1D peaks are merged.
Compatibility: The new Hybrid algorithm type is the new default. The previous blob detection algorithm can be used by setting Detection Type to 2D via Configure > Settings > Blob Detection.
The various Blob Detection settings panes have been updated to use a consistent layout and labels. Also, user input validation has been made consistent between Configure > Settings and Interactive Blob Detection. For example, the user now can turn off smoothing by specifying 0 as smoothing factors in both places.
CLIC Tool now shows the description for both selected function and blob property in a larger pane to the bottom.
For a blob or an area, the Context MS mode now includes the corresponding spectrum for library search based on current settings.
The software now includes a new CLIC function: STRCONTAIN( searchString, string ) for testing if a string contains the search string.
When using File > Import Agilent 2D-LC, a cut was not imported if it is at the end of data acquisition and does not have a 1D end time.
When using File > Import Agilent 2D-LC, the time parameters displayed in Import UI would sometimes have a modulation that was slightly off compared to the 2D-LC cut table if the sampling intervals of raw data are not uniform.

Compatibility: This results in slightly different Column II start sample and time compared with previous versions. The old logic is available via the Configure > Settings > System > Import Agilent 2D-LC File Compatibility using the value: 2020r3 or older.
The default value for Minimum Area of the Blob Detection settings has been changed from 5 to 15.
