I found an error on file import from Agilent .D file to GC Image version 2.8.
It does not happen when I use the version 2.5 or 2.6.
How can I recover the function to import the file type?
Please see attached file for the error message.
Best,
Import file error

Re: Import file error
The latest Agilent MassHunter data reader included in v2.8 requires Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 runtime installed. You can download the installer from here:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... x?id=40784
Or, find the installer under the GC Image installation folder, for example, "C:\GC Image\GC Image 2.8r3 GCxGC-HRMS (64-bit)". There are two installers, vcredist_x64.exe for 64-bit and vcredist_x86.exe for 32-bit. Choose the one matching with your GC Image installation.

Re: Import file error
Thank you for the guidance.
The problems were solved when the Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 runtime was installed at the same time of GC Image installation.
Some version of OS required the instllation of the runtime that obtained from the following link that you showed.
