I would like to perform an automatic library search for blobs in a couple cases
1) in a specific part of the chromatogram (avoid detection of calibrant). I do not know how to get automatic library searches for all blobs in a graphic-defined ares.
2)by opening a GC-Image file (.gci and .cdf pair). I can only get auto library search to occur when I import a raw data file, not when I open a file already saved as an image (.gci).
Thanks for any help or suggestions you can give.

Re: Automatica Library Search: Local Blob Detection/Open Ima
Library Search is performed on either all or selected blobs based on current selection. You can simply
Switch to Blob mode
-> select blobs
-> Processing > Library Search
Or you can click the Library Search toolbar drop-down button, which allows you to choose between all and selected.
After you open an image, you can follow the order of the Processing menu, which provides all processing actions in Import Image and more.
