Windows 11 compatibility

Post by steinewh »

I'm sorry if this answer is somewhere else on the forums or website...I searched and could not find it, although the search button doesn't like the word "windows" because it's too common :)

Is v2021r3 compatible with Windows 11?

Are there any versions that are not compatible with Win 11?

Thanks!

v2020 or newer versions should work on Windows 10/11. There are no known problems for desktop PC environments.

In addition,
All versions starting from 1.9 can be installed on Windows 7 and 10.
Versions older than 2.7 have some UI defects caused by the new Windows theme introduced since Win 7. Older is the version, more serious are these defects. As far as we tested, 2.4 or later versions do not have any UI defect that seriously affects the user operation.
However, v2.9 or older versions are no longer supported.

If the system compatibility is a major concern, we strongly recommend always upgrading to current versions. This will grant you access to the latest features and bug fixes only available for current versions.

Just to add that, if you are using Windows 11 Arm64, the software works with a subscription license key. However, the WibuKey dongles won't work.
