I´ve a problem with this feature o f image investigator.
As reported in the User guide "new images" can be Uploaded in an existing Feature template: " After a feature template is generated, one or more chromatograms can be removed or added to the orginal set to generate a new feature template by loading the new set of chromatograms, specifying the same output location, and choosing Update when the software asks for overwriting."

However the software ask me just to "overwrite" or "append" without showing "Update" option.

Maybe i do not follow the right procedure...
I did as follows:

- open Image investigator
-File : load images
-auto generate feature template
-file name: the same file name of the already existing file
-output folder: same output folder
-ok

Then the software asks: would you like to overwrite or append?

No "UPDATE" is possible.

The "Update" option was added since R2.4. You can check the version you are using through Help > About menu, and the user's guide through Help > User's Guide. The user's guide online is always for the latest release. Also, here is What's New in R2.4.

Nevertheless it worked also using the "append" option.
