50% peak widths or average 4δ peak width

Post by jiangmaoyuan »

Hi,
I would like to obtain details about 50% peak widths or average 4δ peak widths of 1D and 2D. In the blob table set, the peak width could be found, but I do not know the classification of peak width. For example, "size Ⅰ(size of bounding box for value 50% of peak)" and so on.
Could you please tell me which one is 50% peak widths or average 4δ peak width ? or should I go where to know the value of 50% peak widths or average 4δ peak widths ? thanks so much!

sincerely,
JIANG

  • Size I(50) is the Column 1 peak width at 50% peak height
  • Size II(50) is the Column 2 peak width at 50% peak height
There is no peak width computed based on standard deviation. Assuming all peaks are Gaussian, you may derive the relative peak height. For example, the following post shows that +/- 2δ is at 13.5% peak height.

https://dsp.stackexchange.com/questions ... -deviation

Then, you may use Size I/II (w) by Configure > Settings > Blob Statistics > Bounding Box w%
